The Graduate Research Assistant will support Dr. Magno’s intensive GIS (Geographic Information System) research, focusing on projects in the Philippines and Erie, Pennsylvania. The role requires a willingness to engage in fieldwork, learn GIS software, and have basic knowledge of data management.

Responsibilities

• Support GIS research projects in the Philippines and Erie, Pennsylvania.
• Engage in fieldwork and data collection.
• Learn and utilize GIS software.
• Manage and analyze data.

Requirements

• Applicants must be accepted into a graduate program at Gannon University.
• Highly motivated with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of data management.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 20 pounds if needed.

Schedule

• Part-time, 9-month position.
• 10 hours per week.
• Office hours depend on candidate's schedule.
• 1st shift.
