About the role

Protects the financial interest of the Tribe in gaming operations and maintains the integrity and fairness of gaming operations on the reservation through internal control and audit procedures. This position is a grade N14.

Pay

$32.69/hourly.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting, Business, or a related field OR a total of 5 years of experience in Gaming compliance.
• 5 years of experience in administering technical regulations and ability to read with comprehension and apply federal, state, and tribal technical regulations.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• General knowledge of casino accounting procedures.
• Ability to perform gaming device testing and software certification checks.
• Computer experience and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet.
• Valid Driver’s License for state of residency and insurable under the Tribal vehicle insurance policy.
• Never been convicted of a felony or a crime of misdemeanor domestic violence in State, Tribal or Federal court.
• Not been convicted of or placed on a deferred judgment for any misdemeanor crime for 1 year prior to appointment.
• No felony or gaming related convictions.
• Excellent character and reputation and must pass a thorough background check including fingerprints.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft.
• Knowledge of Southern Ute and/or State of Colorado Gaming and Criminal Codes.
