Games Partner Solutions Architect, Partner & Industry Specialists

About the role

AWS is seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) with expertise in the Video Games industry. This role involves shaping industry solution strategies, collaborating with partners and customers, and accelerating cloud adoption.

Responsibilities

• Develop top of funnel sales opportunities with Games industry customers
• Partner with Account SAs, Sales, Business Development and service development teams to accelerate customer adoption of partner solutions
• Evangelize partners' value proposition internally and externally with customers
• Work alongside AWS Partner Development Specialists to build executive and senior management relationships
• Provide architectural guidance and recommendations for successful engagements
• Define technical strategies to enable partners to sell more of their offerings on the AWS platform
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge with the broader Solution Architect community
• Share customer feedback with internal product management and engineering teams

Requirements

• 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 6+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years experience working directly with Games industry customers on cloud and AI adoption
• Demonstrated understanding of commercial game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) and game development workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
• Experience working with consulting partners through solution alignment, account management, product management, program management and business development engagements
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
