Game Presentation Internship

Responsibilities

• Work all Lumberjacks home games
• Engage with fans as part of our “promo team”, participating in events such as the t-shirt toss and other media timeouts.
• Assist with the Chuck-a-Puck promotional program
• Guide the mascot throughout the concourse
• Help with set up/tear down of on-ice activities during intermissions
• Absorb signage/displays within the arena
• Work at the merchandise stand, handling transactions using point of sale system
• Work as an usher
• Assist with fulfillment of Lumberjacks sponsorship agreements
• Serve as a customer service representative on game days, helping guests navigate the arena
• Work in the front office outside of game days depending on your schedule and interests to learn more about the day to day operations
• Perform additional tasks when requested

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Working towards a Bachelor’s in sport management or equivalent area of study (highly desired, but not required)
• A reliable form of transportation
• Must be outgoing and able to interact with our fan base
• Able to work during all Lumberjacks home games including nights and weekends
• Able to multi-task and maintain strong prioritization and organizational skills in a fast paced environment
• Extremely coachable and willing to learn everyday
