About the Role
Join the Detroit Pistons as we harness the power of basketball to unite our city, elevate our fans, and drive lasting community impact. The Detroit Pistons are seeking positive and outgoing Game Night Staff members who will use their personality and skills to enhance the game experience. This part-time position requires late nights, weekends, and open availability for a majority of the Detroit Pistons home games and events.

Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support and coordinates on-court games, contests, and activations including selecting contestants from the audience
- Assist in the coordination of in-game elements with a focus on fan interactivity during pre-game, halftime, and game breaks
- Act as an enthusiastic brand ambassador for the organization in and out of the arena during all games and various external events
- Escorts and coordinates performers for game entertainment (e.g., National Anthem Performers, DJs, In-Arena Host, etc.)
- Works closely with the Pistons Entertainment Teams Directors to assist with various game night needs
- Prepares and facilitates giveaways and in-stand promotions during the games
- Supports the arena host during the games
- Assists camera shots by working with the production crew and designated LCA employees
Requirements
- Must be hardworking, upbeat, and able to adapt quickly in an ever-changing environment
- Hard-working and knowledgeable about the sports, live entertainment/production, and special event industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to multi-task and address problems in a high-stress, fast-paced live event/production environment
- Ability to work the majority of scheduled home games, open practice, additional home playoff games, select rehearsals, viewing parties, and occasional special events
- Takes directions well and is a dedicated team player
- Ability to work well with others including Game Director/Show Caller, Lead Stage Manager, Game Experience staff, camera operators, hosts, VIPs, and more
- Ability to be on your feet for the duration of your shift
- Ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs at a time
