About the role

Game Guides are world‑class hospitality experts who anticipate each guest’s needs, enthusiastically serve them, and do whatever it takes to make their day. At The Escape Game, Game Guides lead guests through immersive escape rooms where teams of 2‑12 work together to complete a mission before time runs out. Guides set the tone with an upbeat introduction, monitor progress using TEG’s software, celebrate after the game, and reset components accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Embodied the company’s mission, vision, and values during every shift.
Led groups of 2‑12 guests in friendly conversation.
Collected information and made meaningful connections with guests.
Enthusiastically explained TEG games and products.
Used Game Guide software to monitor games and assist guests.
Operated games via the Human‑Machine Interface (HMI).
Provided a recap of the experience in the outro.
Ensured operational excellence by:
- Verifying game components function properly.
- Using setup sheets to accurately reset games.
- Cleaning games and the facility.
- Managing time effectively to stay on schedule.
- Restocking inventory.
- Completing necessary reports.
Resolved service failures immediately and graciously.
Delivered a five‑star experience so each guest leaves happy.

Requirements

Flexible availability; ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Physical ability to perform deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, and lift 30‑40 lb, plus perform minor game repairs.
Capability to use small tools and strong magnets when resetting games.
Speed in resetting locks, drawers, shelves, and components within training‑specified time frames.
Excellent communication skills with guests.
Alignment with TEG’s Uniform Standards.

Schedule

Flexible; shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays.
