Game Changer Server (Part-Time)

JOB OVERVIEW

Serve guests in a professional and friendly manner while attending to their needs promptly and courteously to ensure guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attend to guest at their table or the counter, informing them of daily specials, taking orders, serving food, clearing tables and preparing their bill.
• Prepare and serve beverages and ensure that the car and coolers are adequately stocked.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and dining area.
• Keep all condiment containers clean and filled.
• Receive and visually inspect guest check for any inaccuracies, then close the check to the proper method of payment.
• Absorb general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products, as assigned to adhere to health standards.
• Abside by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Perform side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking kitchen shelves with supplies.
• Perform other duties as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, taste or smell.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
• Noisy environment.
