Game Artist (Generalist)

For our client, we are seeking a Game Artist (Generalist) to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will help bring interactive entertainment experiences to life through polished 2D and 3D art assets. You will work across modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and visual effects to support gameplay and elevate the overall player experience. The position partners closely with design and development teammates to ensure assets are both visually compelling and technically optimized for real-time environments. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $109,600 – $164,400 annually Responsibilities Translate design ideas into polished 2D and 3D game assets Model, texture, and optimize assets for real-time engines Create textures, materials, and shaders aligned with the visual style Import and organize assets in engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine Develop visual polish elements such as particle effects and animations Collaborate with team members to ensure art supports gameplay mechanics Iterate on assets based on feedback and technical constraints Maintain organized source files and follow naming conventions Qualifications Broad generalist skillset in modeling, texturing, lighting, and animation Proficiency with art tools such as Photoshop, Maya, Blender, and Substance Painter Experience with real-time engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine Strong grasp of color theory, composition, and visual readability Ability to create diverse art styles from stylized to realistic Portfolio showcasing a variety of completed game art projects Ability to solve visual problems independently with minimal oversight Strong communication skills for team collaboration Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans Matching 401(k) retirement plan Generous paid time off and wellness program Employee discounts on products Eligibility for a bonus package Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
