Gamblers Marketing & Promotion Intern

Department: Gamblers • Reports to: Director of Gamblers Business & Promotions • Part-time, hourly, non-exempt

About the role

The Green Bay Gamblers Hockey Club is currently accepting applications for a Marketing and Promotions Internship for the upcoming hockey season. The internship will start in September 2026 and run through May 2027, with the potential to carry over into the season. Applicants should possess excellent people skills, be reliable and timely, be willing to learn in a fast-paced environment, and be eager to work in sports. As a participant in the Gamblers internship program, you will gain valuable experience in all aspects of the Green Bay Gamblers organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with community relations, pre-season promotional planning, sales initiatives and occasional team store duties.
• Help promote the Gamblers brand at various events and locations.
• Assist with community events, including mascot appearances and grassroots marketing events.
• Provide excellent customer service and be outgoing and friendly to all patrons.
• Work independently, demonstrate initiative, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 10 to 15 office hours per week plus occasional offsite events.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the internet.
• Social media skills are a plus.
• Graphic design skills are a plus.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
