About the role
Provide comprehensive flight instruction and training in various aircraft types including Private Pilot (PPL), Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI), and Commercial Pilot (CPL).
Responsibilities
- Teach students in a variety of aircraft types, including single-engine and multi-engine aircraft.
- Prepare students for FAA certification exams, including PPL, IR, CPL, and CFI ratings.
- Offer flight reviews and ground school sessions to prepare students for their next step in aviation.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, record keeping, and maintaining student records.
Requirements
- A valid U.S. Private Pilot License (PPL)
- A valid U.S. Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- A valid U.S. Instrument Rating (IR)
- A valid U.S. Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI)
- Experience teaching in a range of aircraft types
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 200 hours of flight time
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug test
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
