About the role
As a Program Director at Georgia HOPE, you’ll lead the development and execution of clinical programs within your region, overseeing staff, operations, and strategy to ensure high-quality, compliant, and sustainable service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop program staff through hiring, onboarding, supervision, performance management, and ongoing training
- Oversee daily operations, including caseload management, client services, and risk management, ensuring high-quality care and crisis response when needed
- Manage financial performance by developing budgets, reviewing monthly financials, approving payroll, and maintaining fiscal accountability for the region
- Ensure compliance with all licensure, payer, and accreditation standards (including COA), as well as timely and accurate clinical documentation and authorizations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and community partners to support program growth and service accessibility
- Drive strategic planning and regional development initiatives aligned with organizational goals and performance expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a community-based setting with children and families, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
