About the Role
As a Pre-K Assistant Teacher, you will assist the GA Pre-K Lead Teacher in overseeing classroom activities, adhering to standards set by the GA Department of Early Care and Learning, and aligning with the objectives of the current GA Pre-K Curriculum. You will contribute to creating a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children and their families, helping to forge strong, supportive relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing learning experiences that promote developmental domains such as physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive abilities, and creative expression.
- Observe and assess children's development to aid in customizing the curriculum to meet each child's unique needs.
- Support the Lead Teacher in maintaining a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
