GA Pre-K Assistant Teacher

About This Role

Chroma Early Learning Academy in Roswell, GA is seeking a qualified GA Pre-K Assistant Teacher to work with Preschool (3–5) in a center-based environment. This position requires an active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.

Teacher Responsibilities

• Supervision and daily class functions of a group of children
• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance
• Absorb and implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Chroma Early Learning Academy curriculum and programming
• Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence
• Provide verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior
• Maintain an overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Chroma Early Learning Academy Employee Handbook
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children

• Must be at least 18 years of age
