GA DBHDD - Telecommunications Solutions Coordinator

About the role

The Telecommunications Solutions Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing enterprise telecommunications, network, voice, mobility, audiovisual, and infrastructure projects across DBHDD facilities. This role manages vendor coordination, technology modernization initiatives, implementation activities, and strategic infrastructure planning to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions aligned with agency objectives.

Responsibilities

• Technology Planning & Project Delivery: plan, coordinate, and implement telecommunications, network, infrastructure, and voice modernization projects
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations
• Coordinate project activities across DBHDD facilities and stakeholders
• Provide project status reporting to leadership
• Infrastructure Modernization: develop and manage infrastructure upgrade roadmaps for voice services, data networks, wireless infrastructure, and other systems
• Support implementation of emerging technologies and infrastructure enhancements
• Telecommunications & Voice Services: develop implementation strategies for voice modernization projects and coordinate site assessments, inventory reviews, and deployment activities
• Vendor & Contract Management: maintain partnerships with telecommunications carriers and technology vendors, coordinate vendor deliverables, and monitor vendor performance
• Asset & Infrastructure Governance: oversee inventory management, ensure infrastructure assets are properly documented, and coordinate technology refresh initiatives
• Special Projects: assist in enterprise-wide infrastructure initiatives, coordinate network integration projects, and support agency strategic technology initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• PMP certification
• 5 years of project/program management experience
• Experience managing telecommunications, network, and infrastructure projects
• Strong vendor management experience
• Experience with VoIP, networking, wireless technologies, and enterprise infrastructure
