G.I. Technician, GI Services, Full time, 9am-5:30pm

About the role

The G.I. Technician prepares supplies and equipment for G.I. procedures and assists the physician during these procedures. This position is part of a team contributing to the efficiency of the G.I. Services department.

Responsibilities

• Prepares supplies and equipment for G.I. procedures
• Assists the physician during G.I. procedures
• Works collaboratively with the team to enhance departmental efficiency

Requirements

• Current BCLS card
• Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology
• Knowledge of G.I. practices and medical terminology
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and precautions
• Knowledge of G.I. scopes, instruments, supplies, equipment and their use
