Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- BS in related field or equivalent work experience
- Two years of poultry experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Team oriented
Duties
Normal duties will include:
- Coordinating and verifying all activities that are necessary to take place from the beginning of the move/depletion process through the disinfect/shavings process
- Fostering and strengthening contract grower relations
- Fostering and strengthening relationships with other departments through daily communications and interactions
- Clearly communicating all deadlines to the necessary people involved
- Ensuring timelines are appropriate and deadlines are met
- Performing daily, weekly and monthly progress reports
- Daily local travel within the regional production base
Bio-security and Health & Safety
These are major responsibilities.
