G&A Manager, Space Special Projects
About The Team
Anduril's Space team is at the forefront of advancing national security capabilities in the space domain. Our mission is twofold: 1) develop autonomous satellite systems and space-based platforms, and 2) deliver critical ground and orbital software infrastructure at scale. We transform products and capabilities across space command and control (C2), mission management, and space operations from early concepts into fully operational systems by partnering closely with specialist engineering, operations, and production teams. Through our integrated approach, we design and deploy space software systems using advanced algorithms, distributed architectures, and resilient infrastructure—delivering reliable, mission-critical capabilities that support operators across orbital and ground-based assets.
Space Systems hires software engineers and systems engineers who are excited to build across a diverse and powerful portfolio—from satellite operations software to space domain awareness platforms. Our teams contribute to highly capable autonomous space systems and ground software products that operate reliably in the most demanding mission environments, supporting the DOD and IC in defending our national interests in space.
About The Job
We are hiring G&A Managers across four functional spikes — Operations, Contracts, Security/Classified Infrastructure, and Supply Chain / Procurement — to support divisions across Anduril's portfolio. Regardless of spike, you will partner with division leadership and cross-functional teams to translate complex business, customer, and regulatory requirements into structures, processes, and decisions that let the business move with speed. You will own ambiguous problems end-to-end, work across the full stack of Anduril (engineering, program execution, finance, growth, security, facilities, IT), and be a force multiplier for the teams you support.
What You Will Do
- Serve as a strategic partner to division and business line leadership, embedded in the business and trusted to drive G&A outcomes that unblock programs and growth
- Own ambiguous problems end-to-end — Definition → Solution → Implementation — often without prescription on how to solve them
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, program execution, finance, growth, security, IT, and facilities
- Build durable processes and frameworks that scale with the business line’s footprint, headcount, and program complexity
- Communicate clearly to senior leadership and across large, multi-stakeholder groups
Spike-Specific Duties
Operations
- Stand up and run business operations for a business line — headcount unlocks, IRAD spend analysis, program profitability, site expansion (e.g., scaling a new footprint with IT, Security, Facilities, Growth, Program Execution)
- Lead high-impact special projects that don't fit neatly inside any one function's charter
- Build the operational scaffolding that lets program managers execute against contracts with ease
Contracts
- Own the full contract lifecycle for a business line’s government and commercial contracts — proposal support, negotiation, compliance, modifications, close-out
- Support a portfolio spanning cost-reimbursable, fixed-price, T&M, IDIQ, OTA, and commercial contracts
- Provide FAR/DFARS guidance, draft contract briefs for PMs and executives, and negotiate complex terms with federal agencies, primes, and subcontractors
- Partner with legal, proposals, finance, and program teams to mitigate risk and optimize contract performance
Security/Classified Infrastructure
- Serve as the embedded security partner for a business line, integrating security and classified infrastructure as an enabler of mission objectives— not a downstream function
- Drive early security engagement in new business pursuits, bid/no-bid decisions, and proposal development
- Translate complex customer and contractual security requirements (collateral through SAP/SCI) into clear, resourced plans
- Provide guidance and oversight to security teams supporting the business line’s programs and partner with Industrial/Special Programs Security, Classified IT, and Facilities
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a relevant G&A discipline — operations / business operations / management consulting, government contracts management, or industrial/program security
- Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguity, decompose complex problems, and drive to resourced solutions
- Strong cross-functional communicator — comfortable leading meetings with large groups, briefing senior leadership, and aligning stakeholders
- Self-driven and proactive — you step into gaps rather than waiting to be assigned
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- U.S. Person status is required (position requires access to export-controlled data)
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Active U.S. Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance
- Prior experience supporting DoD or IC customers
- Experience standing up new sites, programs, or organizational functions from scratch
- NCMA certifications (CPCM, CFCM, CCCM); experience with CAS, FAR cost allowability, and Certified Cost or Pricing Data; experience with major DoD weapons platforms; graduate degree in business, law, or government
- Experience embedding security into system design and product development from the outset
