Summary Description

This paraeducator performs a variety of tasks to support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEP), facilitating the mastery of grade-level curriculum or Alternate Academic Achievement Standards. They work in general education settings and may be pulled out for individualized or small group instruction. Duties include instructional and classroom management supports, as well as related clerical tasks.

Job Specific Information

• Works with K-5 students
• Part-time position with 5.5 hours of Job Code 6551 and 0.5 hours of Job Code 6491
• Work hours: 8:35 a.m. - 3:05 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break and 15-minute paid break
• Position is at Jackson Road Elementary School, a Title I school

Qualifications

• Unofficial university transcript with 48+ credits OR
• Official transcript from outside the U.S. evaluated by an approved agency OR
• Unofficial ParaPro Assessment result with a passing score

Pay and Benefits
