Hours and Compensation

Qualifications

• Must be an MCPS teacher or professional certified educator employed by MCPS
• Must complete or be enrolled in the two credit MCPS course "Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Coaching Fundamentals and CPR/AED"
• Must complete/submit the on-line MCPS Application

Requirements

• To be a Certified Coach: Must be a certified teacher (though not employed by MCPS) for Level I Emergency Coach
• To be a Level II Emergency Coach: Must be a high school graduate, at least 21 years old, and complete the two credit MCPS course "Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Coaching Fundamentals and CPR/AED"
