(FWS) The Beacon Project - Tutor (Fall)

Duties Include

• Greeting and engaging teens
• Aiding the Pantry and Beacon Coordinator
• Tutoring high school students in literacy and math activities
• Working with and around minors/teens requiring discretion
• Signing a confidentiality agreement

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma in good standing
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status
• Basic computer skills
• Organized, friendly, and have a positive attitude
• No smoking, vaping, drinking, drugs, or weapons on or near premises
• Familiarity with office equipment
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Pay and Schedule

• Targeted salary of $12.00/hour, based on education and experience
• Position available from August 24, 2026 through May 14, 2027
• Schedule flexible around the candidate's work schedule
