About the role
Our team provides senior National Security leaders with decision-worthy data and analysis to enhance the effectiveness of Intelligence systems supporting Department of War Warfighters. We are building mission-critical intelligence workflows to deliver decision advantage for the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security, OUSW(I&S). As a TS//SCI cleared DevOps Engineer, you will leverage graph technology and data visualization tools to wrangle, clean, analyze, and display data in decision support tools for senior leaders within the Department of War.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of mission-critical intelligence workflows.
- Implement and manage platform engineering, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices.
- Automate infrastructure and environment management using cloud and platform technologies (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure).
- Deploy and maintain secure systems with configuration management, monitoring, logging, and operational troubleshooting (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Collaborate with teams to build and optimize graph-based applications and investigative workflow platforms.
- Apply knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen with active TS//SCI clearance or immediate eligibility per DISS security database (SCI within the last 2 years).
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields.
- 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, or environment management.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud and platform infrastructure technologies (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure).
- 3+ years of experience with operating systems and scripting tools (e.g., Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu, Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- 1+ years of experience supporting secure deployments, configuration management, monitoring, logging, and operational troubleshooting (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and security-conscious deployment practices.
- 1+ year of experience deploying GraphAware Hume, Neo4j-backed applications, or investigative workflow platforms.
- Experience and/or proficiency in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and/or Natural Language Processing.
