DevSecOps Engineer (TS/SCI)
About the role
Our team is committed to providing senior National Security leaders with decision-worthy data and analysis to improve the effectiveness of Intelligence systems supporting DoW Warfighters. The team is building mission-critical intelligence workflows to produce decision advantage for the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security, OUSW(I&S). We are seeking a TS//SCI cleared DevOps Engineer with a variety of technical skills, a curiosity to learn and innovate, and a general understanding of the defense intelligence enterprise. Our engineering team leverages graph technology and data visualization tools to wrangle, clean, analyze, and display data in decision support tools for senior leaders within the Department of War.
Responsibilities
- Support secure deployments, configuration management, monitoring, logging, and operational troubleshooting.
- Leverage cloud and platform infrastructure technologies (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure).
- Work with operating systems and scripting tools (e.g., Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu, Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Deploy and maintain GraphAware Hume, Neo4j-backed applications, or investigative workflow platforms.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Requirements
- US Citizen with active TS//SCI clearance or immediate eligibility according to DISS security database (SCI within last 2 years).
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields.
- 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, or environment management.
- 3+ years of experience using cloud and platform infrastructure technologies (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure).
- 3+ years of experience with operating systems and scripting tools (e.g., Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu, Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- 1+ years of experience supporting secure deployments, configuration management, monitoring, logging, and operational troubleshooting (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and security-conscious deployment practices.
- 1+ year of experience with deploying GraphAware Hume, Neo4j-backed applications, or investigative workflow platforms.
- Experience and/or proficiency in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and/or Natural Language Processing.
