This executive leadership role offers the opportunity to define and drive an enterprise-wide digital transformation strategy that supports long-term business growth and innovation. You will lead the development of a modern, member-centric digital ecosystem while guiding large-scale transformation initiatives across technology, operations, and customer experience.

About the role

Working closely with executive leadership, you will influence strategic decisions, champion emerging technologies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This position combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership, overseeing cross-functional teams and digital investments that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen competitive positioning, and deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the enterprise digital transformation strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, growth initiatives, and long-term organizational priorities.
  • Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive digital roadmap, driving enhancements across digital channels, online services, mobile experiences, and customer-facing platforms.
  • Establish governance frameworks to prioritize digital initiatives, evaluate investment opportunities, and maximize business value through technology modernization and innovation.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide transformation programs, including organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, training, and successful adoption of new technologies and operating models.
  • Provide strategic leadership for digital product management, user experience, engineering, analytics, SEO, digital content strategy, and DevOps teams while developing high-performing talent.
  • Identify emerging technologies, fintech trends, and market opportunities to strengthen competitive positioning and improve customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with compliance, legal, information security, enterprise risk, and vendor management teams to ensure digital initiatives meet regulatory, security, and operational standards.
  • Serve as a senior executive advisor, presenting strategic recommendations to executive leadership and governing committees while representing the organization in industry events and strategic partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Digital Strategy, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in digital strategy, business transformation, innovation, or related executive roles.
  • At least 5 years of executive or senior leadership experience leading enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proven success developing digital capabilities, governance frameworks, operating models, and high-performing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong experience translating enterprise strategy into scalable digital solutions through implementation, optimization, and organizational change leadership.
  • Deep understanding of digital banking platforms, mobile technologies, analytics, user experience, digital marketing, and emerging financial technologies.
  • Experience leading Agile delivery methodologies and digital product development initiatives.
  • Knowledge of website development, digital applications, eCommerce, and front-end technologies including HTML, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership and Boards of Directors.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence organizational strategy, build consensus, and lead complex transformation programs in dynamic environments.
