Fuzión DFW Community Relations Manager
About the Role
The Dallas-Fort Worth Community & Ministry Partnerships Coordinator serves as Fuzión’s local representative and ambassador throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This full-time position is responsible for building and strengthening relationships with listeners, churches, ministries, nonprofit organizations, businesses, civic leaders, and community influencers to expand Fuzión’s reach and impact. As the face of Fuzión in the DFW market, this individual will help establish the ministry’s presence, increase brand awareness, grow listenership, develop strategic partnerships, coordinate outreach initiatives, and connect the Hispanic community with encouragement, resources, and the hope found in Jesus Christ.
The ideal candidate is a highly relational, self-motivated leader who is passionate about ministry, community engagement, church relations, and serving others.
Team Collaboration & Work Location
- Serve as Fuzión’s primary representative in the DFW market.
- Collaborate closely with the Community Engagement team and other Fuzión staff.
- Travel to Tyler at least once per week for team collaboration, strategic planning, and ministry events, including Fuzión Fest.
- Maintain regular communication with team members to ensure alignment in messaging, branding, outreach efforts, partnerships, and promotions.
- Provide regular reports on outreach activities, partnerships, events, volunteer engagement, and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
Community Outreach & Strategic Partnerships
- Serve as the primary ambassador of Fuzión throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
- Develop and maintain relationships with churches, ministries, nonprofit organizations, schools, chambers of commerce, businesses, and community leaders.
- Identify opportunities to expand Fuzión’s visibility, influence, and community impact.
- Cultivate ministry partnerships that align with Fuzión’s mission, Statement of Faith, and biblical values.
- Strengthen relationships within Hispanic and multicultural communities across DFW.
- Collaborate with the Community Engagement and Marketing teams to develop outreach initiatives, promotional campaigns, and branding opportunities.
- Evaluate and recommend ministry partnerships that support Fuzión’s mission and values.
- Represent Fuzión with professionalism, integrity, and excellence in all community interactions.
Community Relations & Brand Development
- Increase awareness of Fuzión and promote listener growth throughout the DFW market.
- Identify key events, concerts, conferences, festivals, and outreach opportunities where Fuzión can engage current and potential listeners.
- Help develop innovative outreach strategies and community initiatives that advance the ministry’s mission.
- Represent Fuzión at public events, church functions, networking opportunities, and ministry gatherings.
Events, Promotions & Community Resources
- Coordinate and execute station-sponsored events, community appearances, remote broadcasts, prayer stops, and outreach initiatives.
- Assist in planning concerts, banquets, volunteer events, artist appearances, pastor appreciation events, fundraising initiatives, and community service projects.
- Organize promotional activities with local businesses and ministry partners.
- Manage event logistics, including setup, volunteer coordination, operation, and teardown.
- Recruit, train, coordinate, and supervise volunteers for outreach events and station activities, ensuring they are equipped to represent Fuzión with excellence.
- Help cultivate a strong volunteer culture by building relationships, encouraging engagement, and recognizing volunteer contributions.
- Ensure all branding materials, displays, and promotional assets are presented professionally.
- Maintain an accurate outreach and promotions calendar.
- Capture photos and video content for social media and promotional use.
- Serve as a bridge between listeners and trusted local ministries, churches, and nonprofit organizations.
- Connect individuals and families with community resources and ministry services when appropriate.
Requirements
- Demonstrates a strong personal Christian faith and agrees with Fuzión’s Statement of Faith and ministry values.
- Passion for serving the local church and reaching the Hispanic community.
- Exceptional interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in community outreach, ministry leadership, nonprofit engagement, public relations, marketing, or event management preferred.
- Strong communication and public speaking abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and staff.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the DFW area and weekly to Tyler, Texas.
