About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance data protection and sharing capabilities.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and integrations within the Virtru platform.
  • Participate in product roadmaps and prioritize feature development based on customer feedback and business goals.
  • Work closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to understand market trends and customer needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development or a related field.
  • Experience with web development technologies such as JavaScript, React, or Angular.
  • Strong understanding of data security principles and encryption techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about data privacy and security.
  • Experience with open-source projects or contributing to open standards.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based services and infrastructure.
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance regulations.

Skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
