We are always looking for talented individuals interested in future Store Manager opportunities with our company. As Store Manager, you’ll lead the charge in every aspect of your store’s day-to-day operations and plans for future success, and you’ll be the one person ultimately accountable for setting the standard for amazing customer experiences, top-notch employee performance, and budget-beating sales.
Responsibilities
Your goal is to run not only a successful shop, but a shop that’s awesome for your community, your customers, and your employees. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Financial performance (50%): Actively work the sales floor, interacting with customers and employees to achieve the store’s sales goals.
- Staff performance (25%): Organize, implement, and validate staff training, and conduct bi-weekly leadership meetings with team leads.
- Store merchandising and operations (15%): Participate in store merchandising, monitor store supplies, and export daily files into QuickBooks.
- Human resources (10%): Actively take part in all aspects of human resources and staffing within the store.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Retail fundamentals knowledge, including KPIs, profit & loss statements, and budgets.
- Leadership experience, with at least a year of team leadership under your belt.
- Retail experience, with at least 2 years in the retail world.
- Operational skills, including inventory, merchandising, payroll, scheduling, and customer service.
- A love for bikes and a passion for helping others discover cycling.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and figure things out.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to keep it clear, real, and respectful.
- Comfort with change, with the ability to be flexible, resourceful, and ready to roll with whatever comes your way.
