About the role
Associated Grocers of New England (AGNE) seeks individuals to join our dynamic team. We operate fourteen supermarkets in New Hampshire and Vermont, and we have expanded to serve retailers in upstate New York and Eastern Pennsylvania. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
- Operate cash registers and perform point-of-sale transactions accurately
- Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations
- Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies
- Perform general store duties such as restocking shelves, cleaning, and maintaining store appearance
- Adhere to safety protocols and follow all store procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Experience with point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of food products and grocery store operations

Pay
$15-$20 per hour
