About the role
Associated Grocers of New England (AGNE) is seeking individuals to join our dynamic team. We operate fourteen supermarkets in New Hampshire and Vermont, and we are expanding our reach to include retailers in upstate New York and Eastern Pennsylvania. We are committed to providing personalized, friendly service with high-quality food products, fostering a supportive environment where diverse constituents collaborate to make a positive impact in our community and the wider world.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
- Operate cash registers and perform other sales-related tasks
- Assist customers with product selection and provide accurate pricing information
- Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies
- Ensure store cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with point-of-sale systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- Experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

$15-$20 per hour
