About the role
The primary responsibility of a Sheet Metal Fabricator at this franchise is to perform various tasks related to sheet metal fabrication, including but not limited to measuring and marking, cutting, bending, shaping, drilling, installing, fastening, polishing, and performing quality checks.
Responsibilities
- Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on the metal sheets
- Cut, bend, and shape the sheet metal to the required dimensions
- Drill holes in the metal for screws, bolts, and rivets
- Install metal sheets with supportive frameworks
- Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering
- Polish metal areas like rough surfaces or the seams and joints between two sheets of metal
- Perform quality checks on completed products
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
- Ability to read blueprints
