About the role
This position is responsible for designing and assembling metal components according to blueprints and specifications.Responsibilities
- Design and fabricate metal parts using various cutting and welding techniques.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure all components meet design requirements.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or related field.
- Proficiency in using common metalworking tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials.
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and drafting.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
