Job Summary

We are seeking creative and collaborative individuals with a passion for changing mental health care in fun and meaningful ways. Immediate openings for Residents/Pre-Licensed Therapists are available.

About the Role

Residents/Pre-Licensed Therapists will evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans, and complete clinical documentation. They will maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions per week with monthly bonuses for meeting minimum expectations. They will also provide excellent customer service, collaborate with a dynamic team, utilize creativity in interventions, attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and training, and adhere to company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing clinical documentation
  • Maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions per week with monthly bonuses for meeting minimum expectations
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training

Requirements

  • At least a master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Board registered as a mental health professional in the state of Virginia
  • Experience with completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Able to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
  • Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
  • If planning to engage in tele-health from home, having a home office that is professional, private, and HIPAA-compliant
  • Prioritize experience with children, adolescents, and teens
  • Prioritize experience with couples and families
  • General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, and insurance billing

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field
  • Board registration as a mental health professional in Virginia
  • Experience with psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
  • Familiarity with a diverse client base
  • Ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries
  • Timely completion of documentation and adherence to EHR systems
  • Experience with telehealth (optional)
  • Experience with children, adolescents, and teens (optional)
  • Experience with couples and families (optional)
  • Knowledge of therapy services, community resources, and insurance billing

The position will be under the general direction of the Clinical Director.
