Future Opening: Aquatics Manager
About the role
The Aquatics Manager position with British Swim School is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. Priorities include ensuring the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards, instructor team management, initial and ongoing training, customer conversations as well as teaching lessons when and if necessary. This position will also require due diligence with tracking required certifications for instructors as well as continuing the employee's development and competency and skills.
Responsibilities
- Onboard, and manage employees to maintain a smooth execution of daily aquatics and service operations.
- Create and manage employee schedules, and pool lesson schedules.
- Address and document employee, customer, and pool incidents that occur.
- Virtual/Zoom Onboard Training
- In Person Aquatics training (paid)
- Instruct swimming lessons in accordance with British Swim School training and program standards, maintaining certifications throughout employment.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Experience in swimming and fitness teaching/management is a plus
Qualifications
- Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid Certifications, may be obtained during training
- SafeSport Certification, may be obtained during training

- Ability to make parents feel comfortable

Pay
Pay starts at $20-24, based on experience and with possible opportunities for bonuses.
Schedule
4 hour shift weekdays (evenings) and/or weekends (morning/afternoon)
