Future Opening: Aquatic Instructor / Trainer

Leadership Role

Able to instruct swimming lessons

Knowledge of swimming strokes and teaching levels

Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

Experience in public facility management

Strong problem-solving skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work without supervision

Ability to lead and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate swim instructor skills in accordance with British Swim School standards
• Complete all required British Swim School Aquatics specific training and successfully complete the final in water and written exams
• Complete CPR/AED & First Aid training within 90 days of employment
• Work a flexible schedule that may include holidays and weekends as required by business needs and as requested by management
• Facilitate the certification process with the swim lesson supervisors
• Promote good public relations by talking with parents before and after class, not during
• Work in an environment where noise levels are usually moderate to high and stand in the water for up to 5 consecutive hours

Requirements

• Enthusiastic, assertive personality with strong relationship and customer service skills
• Effectively communicate with customers and employees, bi-lingual is a plus
• Disciplined to follow schedules and enforce safety procedures as well as follow policies, teaching methods and procedures of British Swim School
• Able to demonstrate swim strokes appropriately

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check
