Future Opening: Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

About the role

Establish customer relationships and provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Duties include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

Responsibilities

• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Handle simple IRA inquiries.
• Manage salary and commission/bonus compensation.
• Manage paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days).
• Manage valuable experience and growth potential.
• Manage property and casualty license and life and health license requirements.
• Manage ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Requirements

• Must have sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing).
• Must have interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
• Must have excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
• Must be people-oriented and detail-oriented.
• Must be proactive in problem-solving and dedicated to customer service.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and multitask.

Qualifications

• Must have organizational skills.
• Must be self-motivated.

Skills

• Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain).
• Life and Health license (must be able to obtain).
