About the Podcast
Our podcast "And Then Came Breast Cancer" has claimed Gold in the Best Wellbeing Podcast category at the British Podcast Awards 2024. The podcast covers all aspects of life and all the questions, worries, feelings and flutterings that occur following a breast cancer diagnosis.
Hosted by Victoria Derbyshire, the podcast offers practical advice, emotional support, and reassurance that you’re really not alone. Victoria and her guests provide a platform for open and honest discussions, helping thousands of others who are going through similar experiences.
Support and Resources
If you or somebody you know has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is looking for support, you can find plenty of it at Future Dreams. We offer:
- Free support groups
- Community groups
- Workshops and classes for both people going through breast cancer, and for supporters / carers close to them
- 1-2-1 appointments with a breast care nurse
- Individual counselling therapies
- Complementary treatments specifically tailored for those who have been touched by breast cancer, including:
- Specialist bra lounge
- Oncology massage
- Acupuncture
- Reflexology
These resources are available in-person or online, wherever you are in the UK.
