Responsibilities
- Prepare furniture for delivery, loading trucks in proper sequence
- Wrap product with blanket, shrink wrap, and bubble wrap as needed
- Properly scan, load, and secure product in truck for delivery in proper sequence
- Read ID labels, shipping tickets, SKUs, and stock numbers
- Follow all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
- Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Must be able to read ID labels, shipping tickets, SKU/stock numbers, and manifests
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs
- Able to submit to a drug test and background investigation
- Ability to bend, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Able to follow directions and work safely
- Capacity to learn and work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Able to work in a non-air-conditioned environment
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
