About the role
As a Warehouse Furniture Assembler at Raymour and Flanigan, you will play a crucial role in the lifecycle of every customer's purchase. Your responsibilities include assembling and inspecting sofas, dining tables, and children's beds to ensure they meet high quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and inspect furniture items to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a high level of urgency while maintaining product quality.
- Routinely lift, lower, push, and pull furniture weighing up to and exceeding 200 lbs.
- Use company-provided hand tools for assembly and inspection tasks.
- Maintain a neat and safe work environment, adhering to Raymour and Flanigan's safety practices.
Requirements
- Commitment to Raymour & Flanigan's safety practices.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of urgency.
- Ability to lift and move heavy furniture.
- Knowledge of and ability to use company-provided hand tools.
- Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
