Furnace Operator - Melter
Pay
$26.64 per hour plus a $0.75 per hour shift differential.
Schedule
2nd shift.

Responsibilities
- Conduct all job duties with safety as a priority and in compliance with safety rules
- Comply with and maintain areas to 5S standards
- Apply chemical treatment to the melt furnace
- Operate controls for furnaces and record temperatures
- Operate overhead crane
- Perform pre‑check forklift inspections
- Observe all company rules and regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous machine‑operator experience
- Ability to stand for long periods and use strength in arms and legs to maneuver castings and patterns
- Ability to work in a hot environment
