Furnace Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor melt deck furnaces to ensure safe and reliable production of high-quality castings.
• Charge and tap iron, controlling metal chemistry and temperature to meet strict specifications.
• Handle molten metal using cranes and ladles, performing equipment checks and maintaining housekeeping standards.
• Follow PPE and lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safety.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within a modern foundry environment.
