Location: Cookeville, TN (Jamestown area). Full‑time furnace operator position with a stable schedule and built‑in days off throughout the month.
About the role
We’re hiring for a Furnace Operator who enjoys hands‑on work in a manufacturing environment. The role involves operating furnace equipment in a warm production setting, ensuring quality, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor furnace equipment throughout the production process.
- Follow established procedures and work instructions.
- Inspect materials and products for quality and accuracy.
- Record basic production information as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Work closely with team members to meet production goals.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directions and procedures accurately.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand for 12‑hour shifts.
- Ability to work in a hot manufacturing environment.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Pay
$15.55 per hour.
Schedule
- Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
- Rotating schedule of 3 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on.
