Funeral Director Embalmer
About the role
This position is for a Licensed Funeral Director Embalmer who is confident handling both the technical and family-facing aspects of funeral service.
Responsibilities
- Manage funeral arrangements, services, embalming, casketing/cosmetizing
- Meet with families with professionalism and care
- Prepare and oversee visitations, funerals, and memorial services
- Complete all administrative and regulatory documentation accurately on time
- Maintain licensure and certifications in compliance with state and industry requirements
- Support day-to-day operations as needed
Requirements
- Active Funeral Director & Embalmer license (or ability to reciprocate)
- 2+ years of funeral directing experience
- A team-focused mindset with a genuine commitment to caring for families and prep room operations
