Funds Associate
About the role
Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Funds Associate with three to five years of experience, preferably in general corporate and securities law with specific experience advising investment funds. This position is open to candidates in all Husch Blackwell offices except New Jersey, New York, and California.
Responsibilities
- Work with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets strategic business unit
- Provide legal advice to investment funds and their investors throughout the lifecycle of the funds
- Handle multiple projects and demonstrate exceptional judgment and organizational skills
- Communicate legal strategies and courses of action effectively
Requirements
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying, or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible
- Excellent academic credentials

Pay
Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in Vermont and Washington, D.C. is $240,000 - $285,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range in Colorado and Massachusetts is $230,000 - $285,000. The range in Maryland and Washington is $230,000 - $275,000. The range in Illinois is $215,000 - $285,000. The range in Minnesota is $215,000 - $260,000. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
