Funds Associate

About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Funds Associate with three to five years of experience, preferably in general corporate and securities law with specific experience advising investment funds. This position is open for all offices except New Jersey, New York, and California.

Responsibilities

• Work with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets strategic business unit
• Advising investment funds at all stages of their lifecycle
• Assisting investors in investment funds
• Handling multiple projects and demonstrating exceptional judgment
• Communicating legal strategies and courses of action effectively

Requirements

• Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible
• Excellent academic credentials
• A commitment to the community
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated record of working well under pressure

Pay

Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in Vermont and Washington, D.C. is $240,000 - $285,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range in Colorado and Massachusetts is $230,000 - $285,000. The range in Maryland and Washington is $230,000 - $275,000. The range in Illinois is $215,000 - $285,000. The range in Minnesota is $215,000 - $260,000. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
