Fundraising Volunteers for End of Year Fundraiser

The HYU Spiritual Life & Learning Society is building a team to get closer to achieving our vision of opening a learning house, a spiritual healthcare center, and self health ministry within 1-3 years.
About the role
HYU Spiritual Life & Learning Society is an independent, self-supported, Universal, Spiritual Temple established to acknowledge the Creator and restore the original, ancient, spiritual way of life. We embrace the Kamatic & Yoruba spiritual systems, Seven Principles of Nguzo Saba, Seven Cardinal Virtues of Maat & Seven Universal Laws.
Responsibilities
- Promote participation in fundraising events and initiatives
- Work with local organizations, businesses, and residents to spread awareness of HYU’s mission
- Attend events and connect with the community
- Gather feedback to help assess program effectiveness
- Create an individual fundraising page to share with friends, family, and colleagues
- Actively promote HYU’s “Being Courageously Powerful” fundraising campaign
- Encourage your network to support HYU’s vision through donations and awareness
Requirements
As a fundraising Volunteer, you must be open to assisting HYU in its mission and ready to engage with the community.
Qualifications
Experience in fundraising, community engagement, and event management is preferred but not required. Passion for HYU’s mission and commitment to self-improvement are key.
