FUNDRAISING AND MARKETING PROFESSIONAL, ST. MATTHEW CATHOLIC SCHOOL, PHILADELPHIA, PA, PHILADELPHIA COUNTY NORTH

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising:
• Develop and implement strategic fundraising initiatives focused on scholarships and school programs
• Cultivate alumni and community relationships to build a strong base of support
• Build-out our alumni database and outreach efforts
• Cook up annual giving campaigns and donor engagement efforts
• Create and execute a program to build participation in the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit program.
• Marketing and Communications:
• Strengthen the school’s public profile through social media, digital marketing, and traditional media
• Create compelling content that reflects the mission and achievements of the school
• Oversee the design and distribution of newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials
• Support the school’s overall advancement strategy
• Aid in administrative tasks related to development and communications
• Events Management:
• Plan, organize, and manage fundraising events and community engagement initiatives
• Collaborate with school staff, volunteers, and partners to execute successful events
• Support our Home and School Association

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in fundraising, marketing, or advancement roles
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media platforms
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a school environment
• Proficiency with computer systems, MS Office Suite, Google Classroom, etc.
• A commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education

Working Conditions

• Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for events and meetings.
