Fundraiser (for a Nonprofit)

Description

OUR NATIONAL CONVERSATION is a nonpartisan media outlet focused on solving problems through civil discourse. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and are seeking 3-4 volunteers with real fundraising experience to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute fundraising strategies to engage potential donors
• Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective funders
• Manage donor communications and stewardship efforts
• Collaborate with the fundraising team to plan and execute fundraising events
• Stay up-to-date with trends in philanthropy and civics education

Requirements

• At least 3-4 years of successful fundraising experience
• Experience managing donor relationships and communications
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to attend weekly meetings via Zoom

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• Experience with digital fundraising tools and platforms
• Knowledge of nonprofit management principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

We are willing to pay success fees for monies raised.

Schedule

The fundraising team meets weekly via Zoom at 1 p.m. PST Thursday (4 p.m. EST).
