Description
OUR NATIONAL CONVERSATION is a nonpartisan media outlet focused on solving problems through civil discourse. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and are seeking 3-4 volunteers with real fundraising experience to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to engage potential donors
- Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective funders
- Manage donor communications and stewardship efforts
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to plan and execute fundraising events
- Stay up-to-date with trends in philanthropy and civics education
Requirements
- At least 3-4 years of successful fundraising experience
- Experience managing donor relationships and communications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to attend weekly meetings via Zoom
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Experience with digital fundraising tools and platforms
- Knowledge of nonprofit management principles
Skills
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
We are willing to pay success fees for monies raised.
Schedule
The fundraising team meets weekly via Zoom at 1 p.m. PST Thursday (4 p.m. EST).
