Funding Specialist

This is a Utah-based hybrid position, requiring some regular in-office days each week. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and maintaining a clean background.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the funding process of contracts received from dealers or contractors originated in an indirect lending department.
• Ensure smooth, quick, and efficient funding of loan contracts.
• Direct communication with the dealer and the applicant to complete all funding requirements.
• Respond to funding inquiries from dealers, contractors, and financial service providers.
• Perform other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department.
• Work with dealers or contractors and financial service providers to provide professional customer service and develop and strengthen relationships.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Loan processing or funding experience in a consumer credit environment preferred, but willing to train the right person.
• Must be able to handle multiple functions simultaneously and function in a fast-paced environment.
• Required to pass a preemployment background check and maintain a clear background.

Physical environment and demands

• Cubicle or home office with minimal exposure to distractions or environmental hazards.
• Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.
