About the role
Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Funding Specialist to join our Corporate Funding Team. This position could be located out of our Charlotte or Raleigh office locations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates with staff from various divisions to review and prioritize funding programs that support the provided services
- Maintains a tracking and communication plan for funding programs
- Collaborates with client service managers, practice area leaders, and clients to facilitate the identification and delivery of funding for Bolton & Menk projects
- Guides and supports application and administration efforts
- Prepares funding program applications
- Collaborates with project managers, agency contacts, and clients on funding programs
- Conducts research on new and emerging funding programs, as needed
- Communicates funding program information to project managers and clients
- Completes or guides funding program administration in the following areas:
- Start-up and close out checklists
- Prevailing Wage compliance
- Disbursement requests
- Compliance reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Planning, Communications, Finance or similar field from an accredited college or university
- 3 years of progressive experience
- Experience public sector loan and/or grant program administration preferred
- Proficient computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
