Funding Specialist

About the role

Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Funding Specialist to join our Corporate Funding Team. This position could be located out of our Charlotte or Raleigh office locations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with staff from various divisions to review and prioritize funding programs that support the provided services
• Maintains a tracking and communication plan for funding programs
• Collaborates with client service managers, practice area leaders, and clients to facilitate the identification and delivery of funding for Bolton & Menk projects
• Guides and supports application and administration efforts
• Prepares funding program applications
• Collaborates with project managers, agency contacts, and clients on funding programs
• Conducts research on new and emerging funding programs, as needed
• Communicates funding program information to project managers and clients
• Completes or guides funding program administration in the following areas:
• Start-up and close out checklists
• Prevailing Wage compliance
• Disbursement requests
• Compliance reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Planning, Communications, Finance or similar field from an accredited college or university
• 3 years of progressive experience
• Experience public sector loan and/or grant program administration preferred
• Proficient computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills
