Funding Coordinator
About the role
Our Funding Coordinators are accountable for supporting all documentation workflow and onboarding of equipment finance and working capital transactions to the system, including critical review of fraud checks. You’ll build relationships with internal and external partners, provide phone/email coverage for the team, and ensure compliance procedures are followed to process equipment finance documents. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable reviewing key provisions with clients prior to funding, collaborative, and eager to be part of a rapidly growing business.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review lease, loan, and business advance documents
- Verify all requirements are met and fraud checks are complete prior to funding
- Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures
- Adhere and verify state titling, usury, and regulatory requirements
- Foster good working relationships with internal staff and partners
- Maintain customers and accounts within system of record
- Verbally confirm contract terms with the customer
- Handle funding requests from referral sources
- Projects and other duties as required
Key Performance Indicators
- Production/Applications processed within specified SLAs
- Meet Monthly Funding Targets
- Identify and mitigate potential issues
- Assure proper terms and conditions on funded transactions
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial, non-mortgage lending (preferred)
- Experience working with titled vehicles (preferred)
- Must be able to multitask and be highly adaptable to change
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills and motivation for personal growth
- Required knowledge of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Friendly and personable with strong verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- 2-4 year degree preferred but not required
- Must be able to work hybrid schedule in-office; this is not a remote work position
- Previous experience in Lending or Equipment Finance in a similar role preferred
- Demonstrated track record of accuracy and productivity

Pay
$60,000 - $70,000 annually + bonus
