About the role
The position In support of the firm’s exciting growth opportunity in the US Wealth channel, we are currently seeking to recruit a high-quality Fund Governance Analyst, to join our Funds team in the US.
This individual will partner closely with legal, compliance, product and risk stakeholders and support the continued build out of our US Funds platform.
Responsibilities
- Policy and Procedure Maintenance: The Fund Governance Analyst plays a key role in the ongoing maintenance of policies and procedures applicable to the ’40 Act fund platform, supporting their accuracy, consistency, and alignment with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
- Approval Frameworks and Escalation Discipline: A core responsibility of the role is supporting the documentation and execution of clear approval and escalation processes for key fund-related decisions, ensuring transparency, accountability, and regulatory defensibility.
- Legal, Regulatory, and Company Administration Support: The role provides hands-on support for legal, regulatory, and company administration activities across the fund platform, helping to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory obligations and internal standards.
- Board, Committee, and Secretarial Support: The Fund Governance Analyst supports the effective operation of boards and committees by assisting with meeting planning, agenda preparation, materials distribution, minute-taking, and action tracking.
- Relationship Building: Key Competencies and Skills: Build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders. Communicate effectively and maintain good interpersonal skills. Problem-Solving And Decision-Making: Find solutions to challenges the company faces. Make decisions quickly and effectively using analytical skills and critical thinking. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Coding skills are an asset but not mandatory.

- Experience And Preferred Knowledge: Ideally 1–3 years’ experience in asset management, with exposure to the US funds industry and experience supporting ’40 Act fund initiatives. Knowledge of capital markets. A strong interest in corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
